The family of a man who was gunned down in front of a Dunwoody preschool is speaking out Wednesday about the arrest of a suspect.
In a phone interview with FOX 5's Portia Bruner, Donald Sneiderman – the father of the victim Rusty Sneiderman – says he is pleased that police have caught the suspect.
Donald Sneiderman -- a resident of Ohio -- went on to say the Dunwoody Police Department did a really good job on the investigation.
When asked in the name Hemy Neuman meant anything to him, Sneiderman did not want to give further comment since the investigation is on-going. He added that his son was a wonderful kid.
Police in Dunwoody arrested 48-year old Hemy Zvi Neuman Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of Rusty Sneiderman outside the Dunwoody Prep School last November. His young son attends the preschool, and he had just dropped the 2-year-old boy off when the shooting happened.
Police did say Wednesday that the suspect and the victim were at least aquaintances.
Investigators say Neuman, a resident of Buckhead, is facing charges of felony murder and he is currently being held without bond at the DeKalb County Jail.
