Hot dogs fell from the sky Wednesday as one of Detroit's favorite eateries celebrated a milestone.
American Coney Island partnered with Channel 955's Mojo in the Morning show to celebrate its 95th anniversary with "Operation Coney Drop." Ninety-five listeners gathered in Dearborn Heights and waited for a helicopter to drop 955 Dearborn Sausage hot dogs from a helicopter. The listeners then dashed to the dogs and collected as many as they could.
In the end, Slyvia rounded up the most in 95 seconds and won $1,000 and American Coneys for a whole year.
