The Seminole County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday was contacted by investigators with the Office of State Attorney Angela Corey, 4th Judicial Circuit, who advised a warrant had been issued for Shellie Zimmerman, the wife of the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed Trayvon Martin.

Deputies arrested Shellie, 25, around 3:30 p.m. in Seminole County and transported her to the John E. Polk Correctional Facility. She was booked on one count of perjury. Her bond was set at $1,000, which was posted shortly before 5 p.m.
Shellie's husband, George Zimmerman, has his $150,000 bond revoked after prosecutors accused Zimmerman and his wife of misleading a judge about how much money they had to put up for the bond. George Zimmerman returned to the jail on Sunday, June 3.
George Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, said a new bond hearing date is set for June 29.
Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder and has pleaded not guilty.
