Man, 72, killed in while walking in middle of Macomb Co. road

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (WJBK) -
Police say a Macomb County man died after he was struck by a vehicle traveling along 24 Mile Road.
According to a release, 72-year-old Tomislav Anakiev was walking in the center of 24 Mile Road just east of Hayes in Macomb Township when he was struck late Monday night. The 62-year-old driver of the vehicle was questioned by Macomb County Sheriffs and released at the scene.
Police say the driver is not facing criminal charges at this time.
