Family and friends gathered at the VFW hall in Saint Clair Shores to remember the 37-year-old. He was shot and killed while picking up a friend who needed a ride on Oct. 6, 2012 when he was caught in a hail of gunfire. Family members say he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Moe was a talented musician. Members of several bands took part in the event. Organizers hoped to raise $10,000.00.

Anyone with information on the murder is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP.
