Florida Hospital has been ranked one of the best hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report and has been named the No. 1 hospital in the Orlando Metro Area as well as the No. 2 hospital in the state of Florida.
In this year's U.S. News Media & World Report's 2012-13 Best Hospitals rankings, Florida Hospital was honored to be recognized in seven specialties. Nationally, Florida Hospital's programs ranked as follows:

- Diabetes & Endocrinology – #42
- Gastroenterology – #16
- Gynecology – #11
- Nephrology – #25
- Pulmonology – #29
- Urology – #43
The rankings were published by U.S. News in collaboration with RTI International, a research organization based in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Highlights of the 2012-13 rankings will appear in the U.S. News Best Hospitals 2013 guidebook, to go on sale in August.

Opened in 1908, Florida Hospital is a faith-based institution focused on providing whole person care. It is one of the largest not-for-profit hospitals in the country, caring for more than a million patient visits per year – more than any other hospital in the country, according to the American Hospital Association.
