ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A two-year, multiagency investigation into a statewide pill-mill network that spanned Miami to Pensacola recently culminated with the arrests of seven doctors and seven clinic owners.
Combined, the seven doctors in the Stouffer organization dispensed more than 2 million oxycodone tablets in one year.
Those arrested face a variety of charges, ranging from racketeering, to trafficking in a controlled substance, to manslaughter.
