Police: Female student groped near U-M campus

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WJBK) -

University of Michigan officials say a woman was assaulted early Monday morning near the school's campus.

A witness tells Ann Arbor police a man approached a female student on the 1800 block of Washtenaw Avenue around 2:45 a.m. and grabbed her chest and crotch. The woman screamed and the suspect fled on foot toward Hill Street.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, around 5' 6", 20 years old and wearing a baseball cap.
