Rockford, Minn., zoning commissioner arrested in child porn raid

ROCKFORD, Minn. (KMSP) -

Neighbors describe Justin Hensley as a computer whiz, but Wright County prosecutors and FBI investigators believe he used that knowledge to make and sell child pornography.

In the small town of Rockford, the quiet cul de sac where Tom Dick lives is filled with families who have children.

"It's a little alarming," he admitted. "I know it happens, but you don't like to see it in your town."

As a father of three, Dick told FOX 9 News that learning his next-door neighbor was being investigated for child porn crimes came too close for comfort.

"It's very disturbing to hear that," he said. "He's living right next door."

FBI agents and Wright County sheriff's deputies raided Justin Hensley's home with guns drawn on Wednesday before removing several boxes full of computers and evidence -- but what makes the allegations even more disturbing for the local community is that Hensley has been a member of Rockford's Planning and Zoning Commission for the past two years.

Hensley was appointed by the Mayor and the Rockford City Council for a three-year term that ends in 2013, but the city administrator said a conviction on a single possession of child pornography charge would violate the code of conduct and oust him from the commission.

Hensley remains in the Wright County Jail, and is expected to be charged on Friday morning. Officials told FOX 9 News he could face up to 10 counts of possession of child porn in Wright County District Court, and the FBI says he may also face federal charges.
