The Chicago Blackhawks have postponed an annual training camp festival because of the NHL lockout.
The festival was scheduled to take place Sept. 22 at the United Center and was to include an open practice that fans could watch.
Instead, the team issued a statement Sunday that says the festival will be rescheduled once the training camp is determined and that purchased tickets would be honored.
The National Hockey League locked out its players early Sunday. The union and owners failed to come to an agreement on a contract. No formal talks have been scheduled.
The NHL is the third major professional sport to impose a work stoppage in the last 18 months, behind the NFL and NBA. It's also the fourth shutdown for the NHL since 1992.
