TECHNICIAN (TEMP. PART-TIME)
ENGINEERING & OPERATIONS

Candidate is to be proficient in the operation of the Sony ELC news production automation system, Sony 8000 switcher or equivalent, and Miranda iTX playout, ingest, and segmenting system.  Duties include operation of various automated TV production equipment to maintain on-air television operations, including, but not limited to, Chyron Camio/Axis system, robotic cameras, audio production consoles, ENG satellite downlink equipment, video servers, digital recorders, studio microphones, IFBs, and mixers, for the production and transmission of live and recorded programming within a fast-paced environment.  Perform other duties as deemed appropriate and as assigned.


Education

Candidate must have an Associates Degree or equivalent broadcast experience.

Experience

Must have 3-4 years experience working in a major market broadcast environment.  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.  Must have ability to adapt to a quick-changing technical environment.
