The city of Deland is delaying plans to put up red light cameras because a new study shows not enough people would be caught at some proposed camera locations, the Daytona Beach News-Journal is reporting.
Deland's city manager told the paper 10 offenders are needed per location to make the cameras "worthwhile."
The city will reportedly get more information in coming weeks and decide what to do with the planned cameras then.
