A hospital in New Zealand reports that a short-finned eel was removed from a man's bottom during a recent visit to the emergency room. The man, who was not identified, showed up at the Auckland City Hospital for treatment last week, as reported by the New Zealand Herald.The eel was described to the newspaper by a hospital source as, "about the size of a decent sprig of asparagus."
