
An arrest warrant has been issued for a 19-year-old Merritt Island resident, whom investigators believe is responsible for the murder of a Cocoa man.
Detectives with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office said Devonte Bradley shot and killed 21-year-old Evander Tinsley on Monday. The investigation determined that Bradley approached the Tinsley on a stairwell leading up to a unit at the Tropical Manor Apartment complex in an apparent robbery attempt. The victim was struck in the head by Bradley, and upon resisting, was shot multiple times.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Bradley, or the investigation, is urged to call the Brevard County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit at 321-633-8413.
