A child may have been the sole witness to what is believed to be a murder-suicide in Orlando. It happened early Sunday evening around 5:24 p.m. in the Stag Horn Villas at 4650 Horn Drive.
Detectives with the Orlando Police Department said they were called out to the area in reference to a cutting. Upon arrival, deputies found a man and a woman lying on the floor of the apartment.
The two were rushed to the hospital, but it was too late. Both the man and the woman died.
After investigating further, Orlando Police detectives discovered that a child of the residence witnessed the entire thing. In fact, it was the child who ran out of the apartment and went for help.
Investigators said the child told a neighbor everything that happened and took the neighbor back to the apartment, that when the neighbor called 911. Chase Cain has the story.
