ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
An Taft man and his brother were working at an auto storage facility at 720 Thorpe Road when he was shot in the arm by the brother's girlfriend.
Orange County deputies said the woman arrived armed with a handgun and fired numerous rounds at the man as he fled on foot through the car lot. Minutes later, the shooter and victim's brother fled in a car.
Deputies later spotted the woman's car eastbound on the Beach Line near the Avalon Park area of East Orange County. Deputies were able to avoid a pursuit and successfully stop the car, apprehending the woman without incident.
The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
