Mitt Romney Says He'd Cut Money to PBS, Internet Explodes

At last night's debate, Mitt Romney said one of the ways he'd cut government spending would be to eliminate funding for PBS (the home of Sesame Street).

The Internet exploded with response. There were 17,000 tweets per minute about Big Bird. Memes featuring Big Bird holding a "will work for food sign" popped up all over the place.

The Washington Post reported PBS got about $444 million dollars in the last budget year. That's some serious coin. Should PBS be cut? What would you cut out of the budget?
