The first tailgater for Friday's Atlanta Braves play-in game may have also been one of the oldest.
Marina Fitzsimmons, 80, said she's the biggest Brave fan out there.
Fitzsimmons says she watches all the games and knows all the players. She said that she's attended 20 games this season with her family.
Marina says her love for the Braves began more than 40 years ago when she went to a game in Philadelphia with her husband. She said she "accidentally" became a fan by rooting for the wrong team. Since that time, she's had nothing but love for the Braves.
Her son-in-law Michael Turick says Fitzsimmons gets active during the game.
High-fiving it, doing the chop, everyone doing the wave," Turick said.
It's no surprise that Fitzsimmons predicted a Braves victory over the Cardinals in Friday's wild card play-in game.
"I've got my champagne when I get home," she said.
