Temple Football Player Faces Numerous Criminal Charges

A Temple University football player faces serious charges, including kidnapping.
Police confirm that Kamal Johnson, 20 of Willingboro, NJ, turned himself into Central Detectives in connection to an incident that happened at his girlfriend's North Philadelphia apartment September 27th.
Johnson faces charges of Kidnapping, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and other related charges.
Bail was set for Johnson at $25,000.
Johnson is a Junior defensive lineman and played in three games this year for the Owls. He registered seven tackles on the season.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
