ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando on Friday celebrated "Pink October," raising awareness for breast cancer with its annual Hope Hike from Orlando City Hall.
The Hope Hike, which began in the City Hall Rotunda and continued down Orange Ave. to MD Anderson was open to the public and will brought together the community, elected officials, oncologists, breast cancer patients, survivors and their families in solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.
This year, MD Anderson Orlando is using Twitter to raise awareness for Pink October, use #HopeHike to read more about the event.
