PHILADELPHIA -

A mother refuses to give up her search for answers more than three months after her son was gunned down in the Society Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened on 4th Street just north of Lombard on July 1st around 3 a.m.

Police say no witnesses have come forward, but the family of the victim, Michael Hagan, believes he may have been helping a friend who was passed out when the person behind the shooting approached.

Carol Hagan tells Fox 29's Claudia Gomez she is angry with the city's response to her son's death.

Hagan says she is frustrated that there were no surveillance cameras to provide clues and no police patrols around at the time her son needed help.

City officials say their resources are targeted in the areas where they are needed the most.

Friends and family have posted signs throughout the city, asking the community for help.

There is a $50,000 reward for any information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of Hagan's killer.

Hagan's family hopes the reward will finally be enough incentive for someone to come forward.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
