ROSEVILLE, Mich. -- Police say 68-year-old Roseville man was formally charged Wednesday with solicitation of murder.

We're told Charles Tringali wanted his wife of 27 years dead and was arrested after giving a detective a down payment at a meeting where they discussed methods and location.

Tringali is said to be in the Macomb County Jail after his bond was set at $1 million during his arraignment.

Solicitation of murder is a life felony.

In the video report, FOX 2's Maurielle Lue talks Tringali's roommate, who says he got police involved.
