Detroit police seek suspects in 10 gas station robberies

DETROIT (WJBK) -- Detroit police say they're looking for a group of young men believed responsible for 10 armed robberies at gas stations and one attempted robbery.
Police say the string of robberies started Oct. 10 and the latest was Tuesday.
During the robberies, police say the men, in a group as many as few as three and as many as five, typically walk into the gas stations armed with an assault weapon and announce a holdup. They take cash and flee. In the attempted robbery, police say the men crashed a vehicle into the front of a gas station Oct. 10 but fled before getting inside.
Reported robbery locations: 6500 block of Van Dyke 800 block of W. McNichols 10000 block of Gratiot 9700 block of Van Dyke 1900 block of E. McNichols 1600 block of E. McNichols 9300 block of Van Dyke 1100 block of Clay 3700 block of Joy 800 block of W. McNichols 12800 block of W. McNichols
No injuries have been reported in the robberies so far. Police say they plan to release a still photo of the suspects. They're seeking tips from the public.
