OCOEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A search has resumed in the case of a Central Florida woman who disappeared back in 2009.
The group Search and Rescue of Central Florida focused on a piece of land Saturday, along Maguire Road and State Road 429 that had previously been inaccessible. The search resumed today in that area in a section not previously searched. The weekend search concluded at 5 p.m.
Tracy, then 27, was last seen in May of 2009 with a man named James Hataway after leaving a MetroWest bar. He told police he dropped her off and is now serving a life sentence for an unrelated attempted murder case. He is the only named suspect in Ocasio's disappearance.
Hataway has not been charged in connection with the case.
