ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Sushi House not only serves sushi, it's a sushi school of sorts.
The Orlando restaurant, near Florida Mall, offers two-hour classes on the basics of sushi preparation and etiquette.
Attendees receive instruction on how to correctly prepare rice, slice fish and vegetables and learn some of the do's and don'ts of sushi dining and preparation.
After the end of the class, attendees sit and enjoy the meals they prepared, along with miso soup and nonalcoholic beverages. Each student is presented with a framed certificate of completion and a sushi-making kit.
The class is normally $100 but is being offered for half price through mid-November.
