An out-of-this world exhibit is open at the Orlando Science Center that uses real props from the "Star Wars" franchise to promote real science.
Fox 35's David Martin visited the science center Friday morning and toured the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit.
Props, models, costumes and artwork from all six "Star Wars" films are on display. Next to the original land speeder from "Episode I: A New Hope," visitors can see a real hovercraft and build and test their own maglev (magnetic levitation) vehicle.
"This is really a science and technology exhibit using the appeal of star wars to teach people about science, technology, engineering and math," OSC spokesman Jeff Stanford said.
The exhibit is at the science center through April 2013. Go to OSC.org for more information.
