A 23-year-old Texas woman is accused of beating her 10-year-old sister with an extension cord over a bag of Cheetos, KTRK-TV's website is reporting.
Deby Mejia, of Houston, was charged with injury to a child after the girl told investigators that her sister got "real mad" when she returned from a neighbor's house, where she had gone to buy Cheetos. Police say Mejia beat the girl with an extension cord and banged her head on the floor, knocking her unconscious, the website reports.
They say someone from the girl's school noticed bruises on her body.
