World War II veteran’s final flight during last days

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (myFOXDetroit.com) -

Through a program called Hospice Dreams, a World War II veteran was able to revisit his first "true love" - airplanes.

Joe Horvath flew a P-51 during the war. Now in hospice in Southgate, the 90-year old has been given only two more weeks to life.

His wife Maggie is happy to join him on this last flight, courtesy of Yankee Air Force Museum.
