Alleged drunk driver pulled over with dead skunk dangling from v - FOX 35 News Orlando

This drunk driving bust really stinks.

Police in Waynesboro, Virginia, report an officer smelled more than booze after pulling over Efrain Alvarez.

The arresting officer also detected a "strong odor of skunk."

The officer discovered a dead skunk in a plastic bag hanging from the van's rear window wiper.

The Daily News Leader reports Alvarez told officers the skunk was killing his chickens.

He said he was looking for a place get rid of the dead critter.

Police say Alvarez had a blood-alcohol level well over the legal limit.
