A man accused of killing a 41-year-old woman pleaded guilty to first degree murder Wednesday morning.
The suspect, 31-year-old Jaime Coronado, was arrested after Michelle Melinda Morales' dead body was found inside a home in March 2010.
Chandler police said physical evidence found on Coronado connected him to Morales' death.
Police received a call from a landlord on March 1, 2010 saying a bloody body was lying on the floor inside a vacant house.
Coronado will be sentenced on Nov. 28.
