Atlanta leaders seek changes to ParkAtlanta contract

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Atlanta leaders have proposed sweeping new improvements to city meters and parking lots after public complaints.

A transportation committee approved 21 changes on Friday from Mayor Kasim Reed's administration and Atlanta Councilman Lamar Willis.

It calls for responsive customer service, easy to use online appeals process with ParkAtlanta and improved technology and signage.

Tickets cannot be issued if there's unclear signage or broken meters.

The Atlanta City Council will consider the changes on Monday.
