Woman Shot Outside West Philadelphia Apartment Building

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Police said officers were called to the West Park Apartments shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday and found a 22-year-old woman lying on the ground outside with a gunshot wound to the back.
She was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was pronounced dead a few minutes later. Police said no suspects have been arrested and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
