A Marine who lost his legs and an arm in Afghanistan was honored at an Atlanta Falcons game.
Marine Cpl. Todd Love of Acworth and Army Sgt. 1st Class Michael Schlitz appeared at Sunday's football game.
The Cherokee Tribune reported that Love lost both legs and his left arm in an explosion while serving as the point man on a foot patrol in Afghanistan. He spent more than two years at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and returned to Georgia in September.
The Falcons have partnered with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation to help both men and other injured veterans nationally.
