Friends and family of a valley man shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in 2001 organized a candlelight vigil in his honor on Sunday.
It's been eleven years since Justin Alaya was shot in the neck and paralyzed while driving near 35th Avenue and Camelback Road.
He died six months later, on Nov. 18, from complications with his injuries.
Police were unable to find or arrest a shooter in connection with Alaya's murder.
In August, officers re-opened the case after receiving new information.
However, officers still need the community's help finding a suspect, said Phoenix Police Sgt. Darren Burch with Silent Witness.
The vigil was held in a parking lot at the southwest corner of 35th Avenue and Camelback Road.
FOX 10's Jill Monier reports.
