AnOrlando man is in custody after police say he tried to sexually assault a womanon Tuesday. Ronald Moses II didn't say anything as he was escorted in handcuffsfrom Orlando Police Headquarters to jail , officers say Moses tried to sexualassault a woman at home near South Semoran Blvd. and Oleander around 4:40 p.m..
"Thecops were everywhere and then I saw the crime van," said neighbor Wendy Negron.
Policesay Moses attacked the woman inside the home, trying to sexually assault herand tie her up but was unsuccessful. Officers say the victim was able to escapeand get someone to call 911 -- the incident left neighbors on edge.
"Thiswas during the day not just the night, and so we locked the gates with thepadlocks and everything now," Negron said.
Neighborsin the area were shaken by the incident and say it's even more frightening thatsomething like this could happened in broad daylight right near Florida HighwayPatrol Headquarters
"Itis kind of scary because with the highway patrol right there, you wouldn'tthink something like that would happen but obviously it will," said RandyGreen, a neighbor.
The victim is being treated for non- lifethreatening injuries at the hospital.
