The Facebook posting says that the medication will hopefully help jumpstart Tripp's brain and allow him to participate more during his ongoing recovery.
The 2-year-old was struck by a falling tree limb while he was playing on the playground at his Winder daycare last month.
State officials announced that they have completed their investigation and found the daycare center was not at fault.
