Hot Topic: What's your favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal?

Turkey.  Stuffing.  Mashed potatoes.  Pumpkin pie.  Hungry yet?  Everybody's got a favorite for Thanksgiving.  You might not realize it, but your traditional feast might not be the same as someone else's.

A recent article on Thanksgiving traditions points out that long ago, turkey and pumpkin weren't staples of the big day.  Instead, venison and wild fowl were the stars, as well as other things like fish, lobster, berries, beans and vegetables.

So, we want to know: What's your favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal and why?

Post your responses on our FOX 5 Atlanta Facebook page, tweet us @GoodDayAtlanta, or email us at goodday@myfoxatlanta.com! We'll read some of your responses during the 9 am hour of Good Day Atlanta.

And, no matter what your favorite is, Happy Thanksgiving from Good Day!
