ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Orlando Magic staff and volunteers served Thanksgiving breakfast to more than 800 homeless men, women and children at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida on Thursday.
This 20th annual tradition included an open breakfast for Coalition residents and any members of the community who didn't have the means to celebrate Thanksgiving. The Magic also hosted a special carnival for children, immediately following breakfast, at the Coalition's main campus.
Festivities included a guest appearance by Air STUFF and the Magic Dancers, the Fanbulance, face painting, and music by Power 95.3. Adults and children were also treated to haircuts by Paul Mitchell The School.
Magic staff in attendance included Orlando Magic players Jameer Nelson, Glen Davis and Maurice Harkless, Magic Head Coach Jacque Vaughn, Magic CEO Alex Martins, Magic GM Rob Hennigan, and Magic Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw.
