Forget about just one big screen TV or other much-desired electronic or computer device -- the next person who wins the Powerball jackpot could buy an entire electronics company if they want. Since no one picked all the numbers drawn on Wednesday night, the Powerball jackpot has grown, to an estimated $325 million.
The estimated grand prize for Wednesday night's drawing was $250 million. The winning numbers were: 08 - 18 - 24 - 30 and 39, and the Power Ball number was 26.
The closest anyone in Illinois came to the grand prize were the three players who matched four of five numbers and the Power Ball, according to the Illinois Lottery. They will each receive $10,000.
The next Powerball drawing, with that estimated grand prize of $325 million, will be held on Saturday. While it's a huge jackpot, it isn't the biggest in the history of the game. The biggest Powerball jackpot ever was $365 million, won in 2006 by eight workers at a Nebraska meat packing plant.
