A 3-car collision led a van to burst into flames Thursday afternoon.
About 4:15 p.m., Phoenix Fire responded to a crash at 43rd Ave and Baseline.
The driver of the van, a male in his 40s, suffered serious burns to his body. Another driver involved in the accident, a 29-year-old male, had to be extricated from his vehicle, said Phoenix Fire Capt. Scott McDonald.
Both he and the driver of the van were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Another two people suffered less-serious injuries.
At this time, the circumstances of the collision are unknown.
