Rockaway Rescue Alliance provides meals to Sandy victims

There are a lot of people from the area who have been forced from their homes due to Hurricane Sandy.
One family impacted by the storm themselves is doing their part to help others have a warm meal.
There is a steady stream of volunteers from the Rockaway Rescue Alliance who are providing Thanksgiving meals to those who unfortunately, aren't able to have them in the Rockaways.
To volunteer write to rockawayrescuealiance@gmail.com and to donate, make out check to Community Environmental Center, make sure to write RRA Shore Soup Donation in the memo, send to: Community Environmental Center/ 43-10 11th St/ Long Island City, NY 11101.
