MYFOXNY.COM -

The NYPD has added more patrols with mobile units and floodlight in Breezy Point, Queens after a rash of robberies in the community.

There were three robberies over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, according to authorities.

Police say they hope the beefed up patrols will deter people who don't belong in the community from the thought of looting.
