Authorities in Polk County are looking for a woman who escaped as she was being taken into jail.
Vinzena Wardell, 31, was arrested and charged with grand theft, exploiting the elderly and scheming to fraud.
Late last night, authorities say she pulled another trick at the Bartow jail.
Authorities say that as they were taking her into jail, she started throwing up, and while deputies tried to help her, she escaped.
"When she got through the gate, she opened the door, and [the deputy] got out and started to chase her," witness Davey Sexton said. "He forgot to put it in park, and so he ran back to put it in park."
She took off and hasn't been seen for hours. She is not armed, deputies say, but as they were arresting her, she resisted and was shot with a stun gun.
Wardell was wearing black pants. She is about 5-foot-1 and weighs between 220 and 230 pounds.
