PALM BAY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 News) -
Surveillance video and 911 calls have been released of an armed robbery late Tuesday at a Walgreens store in Palm Bay.
The gunman is accused of holding up the store on Malabar Road.
Palm Bay Police said Kenneth Kirwan Jr., 20, was shot by a SWAT officer as he tried to get away. He is in critical condition at a hospital.
Authorities also have identified the officer involved in the shooting.
Josh Taylor, 40, is a firearms instructor and 10-year veteran. He is on paid administrative leave, which is standard procedure in officer-involved shootings.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the shooting.
