STATEN ISLAND, NY -

Razzi, the now famous zebra who escaped a petting zoo on Staten Island Wednesday, was relocated to New Jersey, the New York Times reports.

According to the New York Times report, the zebra's owner, Giovanni Schirripa, told the New York Times' "City Room" blog that Razzi was taken to a barn near Phillpsburg where he keeps some of his horses.

The New York Times reports the escape, which was captured on cellphone video, got the attention of authorities from the New York City health department, who spoke to the owner Thursday.

Razzi and Casper, a pony, were seen on video running through the streets of Staten Island.

Police eventually managed to capture the two and return them to the petting zoo.
