Finding Love On A Layover Right At Your Fingertips

Posted: Updated:

Finding love during an airport layover is just a website away.

Meetattheairport.com is a social website where adults can meet while waiting for flights at the airport.

After typing in your name, email and personal interests, choose what airport you're in and it lists the members who are there.

You're also able to distinguish whether you're just looking for a friend, something serious or something causal.

Steve Pasternack started the site while delayed at Miami International Airport in 2011. He says the site now has about 35,000 members.

A long time couple flying into Philadelphia International from Los Angeles had mixed emotions about the site.

"Do you have to have an electronic device to prompt you to have human interaction?" Melanie De Armond questioned.

Her boyfriend, Robert Rodriguez said, "It sounds interesting enough. Everything is worth a shot. Online dating is so common now."

Pasternack also operates the website sugardaddie.com. He says he's gotten several e-mails from satisfied meetattheairport.com members who say they've met great travel partners and friends.

He says so far no marriages as of yet
