Jobs Report Will Show How Sandy Impacted Economy

Posted: Updated:

The Northeast is still reeling from the physical damage of Hurricane Sandy. Now, the economy is expected to feel the super storm's wrath.

The November jobs report is due out this Friday, and the numbers are not looking good.

Economists predict a pretty big dip in hirings because of the damage left in Sandy's wake.

The unemployment rate is forecast to remain at 7.9 percent.

Many people in parts of New York are still struggling to get on their feet a month after the storm. One month later and cleanup from the hurricane is still overwhelming for many homeowners in Breezy Point, Queens.

But thanks to volunteers, victims are slowly starting to get their lives back in order.

Fox's Dan Bowens has the story in this video report.
