ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A suspect is on the run after a woman was carjacked and pistol-whipped early this morning at an Altamonte Springs condominium complex, authorities said.
The victim was walking to her car at about 4 a.m. when three men jumped out of a van, pistol-whipped her and took off with her car at the Waterside at Cranes Roost condos, according to Altamonte Springs Police.
An officer with Lake Mary Police spotted the suspects' vehicle, which skidded off the road and crashed into a ditch near State Road 417 and County Road 46A.
Two of three suspects were arrested, and one fled the scene, police said. One of the suspects is a juvenile.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at a nearby hospital.
Investigators are searching the stolen vehicle for more evidence.
