GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. -

A stretch of the Bridgeton Pike was shut down for several hours Monday night after a person was struck by a car.

The area from Berkley Road to Mt. Royal Road was closed to allow police to investigate the accident.

Police say one person was taken to Underwood Hospital but their condition is not yet clear.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear.
