El Mirage Police have arrested a 27-year-old woman who they say is responsible for killing a 29-year-old man on Thanksgiving.
On November 22, the victim was found shot inside of his mother's home, in the 11900 block of W. Flores Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In conjunction with the U.S. Marshals, El Mirage police took Rachel Diane Smith, 27, into custody on Thursday at a residence in Peoria.
Smith was booked into jail on one count of 2nd degree murder and aggravated assault.
The victim was identified as Todd Guiles. A motive is unknown.
